Hey my FI and I are starting to consider a beach wedding and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what company to go through or anything because we have no idea who is good and who isn't. I am wanting to go to Destin or somewhere in the Gulf. Thanks!

Try a local board of where you are interested in getting married. They will be a lot more helpful there.

I'm in your boat. And no one on the "local" boards could help... I've looked at tons of vendor pages, etc. They all offer about the same stuff... be careful though and read all the fine print! If you're planning on doing anything yourself, some vendors won't let you!
I think we've finally got the options down to Pensacola Beach or Navarre... Destin is WAY too full of tourists in the summer for a wedding... and getting around would be a nightmare!
We're going to rent a house and have the reception there... and I've found a caterer that will do a luau reception with a whole roasted pig and the works!

After doing lots of reading on the internet and reading posts on here we picked Destin but decided to rent a house ourselves on the beach so we could decorate for the wedding ourselves then hired an officiant and a photographer. We visited Destin this year for vacation in June this year and fell in love with the beaches there- we have never seen this house that we rented besides lots of pics that we got so hoping that we made the right decision! Good luck in whatever you decide
