Hi Ladies.
I have never posted on here before...but since I've started planning a beach wedding, I think I'll find this board extremely helpful.
My name is Donna and FI is Patrick. We haven't set our date yet...but that should be coming very very soon!!! We will be getting married at the OBX, NC. That's about all I have for now :)
However, boredom has struck me at work, so what else to do to fill my time than work on wedding "stuff". I've designed a possible monogram that we will use, labels for a candy buffet and am now working on prospective ideas for our wedding ceremony program. My question is...once everyone has made their grand entrance and the officiant says the opening welcome/prayer...what comes next???!!!! I have some readings I'd like to have read and a sand ceremony, but what is the order????
Thanks in advance! Hope to hear from all of you soon!

The officiant will typically give you an outline or structure for the order, which is usually fairly similar wedding to wedding. Here is a short sample. http://weddings.about.c

I had another site I used also, but can't find it now.

It is YOUR wedding but your officiant will usually be knowledgeable on this. I am having issues trying to figure out WHO should walk down the aisle? Just parents? Grand parents as well? Any thoughts?

I do think that this too is YOUR decision! We have just one set of grandparents left between the two of us and I think it would be a nice gesture to have them walk down the aisle themselves to be recognized, but I'm not really close with them...they are FI's grandparents so I'm not sure that I'm going to have them listed in the program as seating of the grandparents unless FI really wants that. If it were my grandparents, I wouldn't even have to think twice about it, since I was extremely close with them, they would be listed in the program and have their own seating moment.
So, really I think this is up to your discretion as well.
Hope that helps :)
