Hi everyone~
I am having a difficult time finding "the" dress for my beach wedding, and was hoping that you could share where you found your dress. I am looking for a simple, but beautiful, dress, but it seems that most shops carry very limited selection of these since most dresses are very formal. Any help or recommendations appreciated. TIA!

I actually found mine through a charity event called Brides Against Breast Cancer....you can google it for more info (there was an ad on the knot at one point)...they have dresses from places all over the US so a wide range!! And the proceeds go towards breast cancer...Good luck!

I found mine at a website called aphrobridal.com. It was a bit of a leap of faith, because the dresses are made and shipped from overseas. But I took the chance, found the perfect dress and it arrived and looks great. They let you send your measurements and the quaility of it is amazing. Happy shopping!

I bought mine at David's. Just don't go there on a Saturday. It is a zoo. I wasn't convinced it was THE dress but didn't find anything else that was right for me. In the end I was so happy I chose it, got lots of compliments, and happier I did not spend $2 or $3 thousand on it and had money to spend in other areas of our wedding.

I got my dress from the Alfred Angelo store in Tampa. It's long but more the plain side, beach appropriate (I think). David's also had a really cute tea length dress tha would be good for the beach. That was back in April, so I don't know if they have it anymore. HTH

I bought mine from David's Bridal too. They had a pretty good sale. At first I wasn't so sure about the dress because I originally wanted something white with lots of beading and pickups. The dress I bought is very flowy, ivory, and has very little beading around the waist. After I wore it around the store with the veil for a few minutes, I was convinced that it was perfect...and it is. At least for me it is.

I also got a Maggie Sottero dress and found it by going to several bridal shops around where I live. I recommend doing the same - ordering online is weird without trying it on for yourself!
