Hey LC! I'm getting married in NJ too on the beach! What location are you going with? I have never seen this - but it looks nice! Let me know when you find an answer!

i
'm getting married next september in ocean city, nj on the beach and i haven't seen anything like this, although i agree it's a cool idea. depending on how long and straight you want your aisle runner, this is not something that should be too difficult to make. you can see from the photo that they screwed the boardwalk planks into another piece of wood running perpendicular to the surface planks. you'd have to pay for the raw materials and any stain for the wood, but i bet your FI has an electric drill and a weekend. if you don't need it to be very long (and after this nor'easter i doubt any of our beaches are that big anymore) it shouldn't be too expensive. and then you could leave it on the beach access path after.

just some thoughts. hope they help!
