Cheap Beach Wedding in CA

Does such a thing exist? My fiance and I want to rent a beach house and basically get married right on the outside on a beach on the West coast. Anyone have any info as to where I can begin my search? We live in NorCal but are willing to go toward SoCal for the nicer weather.

It depends on what your version of "cheap" is. The PP listed some good places for you to start looking - herecomestheguide is awesome but you won't find beach houses there.
I'd try searching the internet for rentals and see if you can find the size of place you're looking for in your price range...then you'll have to find out the beach permit issues, etc for having the wedding on the beach. Basically, I have no idea, these are just some thoughts :-)
If it matters, I live in Nor Cal, too and couldn't find what I was looking for so I ended up in Florida of all places.
