Is anyone doing unity sand? If so, what are you having the officiant say exactly? And who all are you having involved and are you layering the sand first and then pouring together, or are you just pouring all together?
I am having a hard time with the wording because I am a very independent person and a lot of the wording I'm finding basically says you are leaving your individuality behind.

There's a "customs and traditions" board on the knot, and a lot of brides use this ceremony, even if they're not getting married on a beach. You may want to ask for wording there.

Here's the life cycle of the knot/nest. You start out on NEY, go through the other boards. You see those bitter old hags who've been married before, and are doing it again. Then somehow you end up on P & E, then over to the nest on S & R, then, over to TIP. Then a few years later, you're back on Second Weddings. Then you're older, wiser, and then laugh at the women who are 19 who are getting married and complaining because you've said they're too young, they should go slow. And finally, you're called a bitter old hag. You have arrived.
