NJ Beach Weddings

I'm looking to have a beach wedding in the NY/NJ area in 2010. I'd like to have the ceremony on the beach and the reception oceanfront. So far I've found a few places in Long Branch and Spring Lake NJ. Anyone have any favorite beachfront reception halls they can suggest?

I'm getting married at the Ocean Placer Reosrt in Long Branch..... others I saw were: Merri Makers in NJ, There are a few in Long Island - like Gurney's Inn. There is one in Cape May... Congress Hall. There are only like 10 nice ones in all of NJ and NY!

Hey Chris! We're getting married @ Tim McLoone's Supper Club in Asbury Park, NJ on Friday. It's right on the boardwalk (used to be the Howard Johnson). They do a ceremony on the beach and then your guests turn around and go have cocktail hour on a balcony overlooking the ocean. The food's great! It's got great ambience and Rachel, the girl in charge of weddings, is fantastic! If your having 120 people or less- this is the perfect spot. Good luck!

Thanks for the input. I'm going to check out Tim McLoone's this weekend. It looks like a nice oceanfront place. Hope you have a FABULOUS wedding--enjoy! Post some photos on the Knot!

I'm getting married at McLoone's Pierhouse in Long Branch...beach ceremony with the reception inside!
